The traveling festival curated by Courtney Barnett brings performers from all around the world to create a unique festival experience. Given the opportunity, I had many encounters with various artists and got to share my plentiful pics.
Courtney Barnett closed out in a rock-in-roll fashion climax. Right before her, Lucy Dacus stunned concert-goers, playing hits like “Night Shift,” and “Hot & Heavy.”
Getting a one-on-one photo shoot with Faye Webster I used my prism lens to create an illusion within the ivy claiming the nearby brick building. She ended up loving the portrait and giving it her signature.
Caroline Rose being a surprise fill-in for Men I Trust (who ended up having a COVID break within their camp) did an all-acoustic performance. After I had her doodle all over my round framed polaroids. This had to be one of my favorite touches added to my various pictures.
Back in February this year, I shot for Lunar Vacation while they were opening for The Beths. Having another opportunity I didn’t waste any time and captured an accidental triple-exposed polaroid that is truly one-of-a-kind.
I shared my photos with them, and they posted them on social media with a new tour in 2023 back in the US! Hope to see them again soon.
What happens when you mix a star filter with a prism lens? Apparently this incredible photo of Bartees Strange where the lights create a laser effect going against the prism glass.
Hana Vu opened up the festival with their electric attitude and captured a crazy red portrait to match.
